Inherit The Kingdom is a Youth Development Program in Goochland Virginia that teaches skills in farming, gardening, agriculture and culinary arts. The program uses 2 acres of land to cultivate produce, spices, and other nutritious, organic foods. Each participant will receive a gardening tool kit and classroom instruction teaching the fundamentals of farming. The food harvested will be made available to Goochland County residents and those in surrounding areas through produce stands a bi-weekly Farmers Market.

LOCATION

We are located on Cox Farms. The Cox family has a rich history in Goochland. The late Thomas Cox used the land to provide for his family, relatives, and neighbors. The Inherit The Kingdom Youth Development Program is a collaboration of efforts from his youngest son, John Thomas Cox (Impact On People) and The Gourmet Angel Food Bank, a nonprofit organization serving the DMV providing food weekly to families in need.
